Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on architectural, urban planning and construction activities of the Law on Architectural, Urban Planning and Construction Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The legislation on architectural, urban planning and construction activities of the Republic of Kazakhstan is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of the norms of this Law, the Civil Code and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
2. If an international treaty ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establishes rules other than those provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on architectural, urban planning and construction activities, the rules of the international treaty shall apply.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 16, 2001 No. 242.
This Law regulates the relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the process of carrying out architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is aimed at creating a full-fledged habitat and human activity, sustainable development of settlements and interuniverse territories.
