Article 2. Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of veterinary medicine Law on veterinary medicine

     1. The legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of veterinary medicine is based on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of this Law and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

     2. If international treaties ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan establish rules other than those contained in this Law, the rules of international treaties shall apply.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 10, 2002 No. 339.

This Law defines the legal, organizational and economic basis for carrying out activities in the field of veterinary medicine and is aimed at ensuring veterinary and sanitary safety.
