Article 17. Industrial and Innovative Infrastructure of the Industrial Policy Act
The industrial and innovative infrastructure consists of the following elements:
1) special economic zones regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Special Economic and Industrial Zones";
2) industrial zones regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Special Economic and Industrial Zones";
3) technology parks (hereinafter referred to as technoparks);
4) joint-stock investment funds of risky investments regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Investment and Venture Funds";
5) venture funds regulated by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Investment and Venture Funds";
6) Technology commercialization centers;
7) design bureaus;
8) International technology transfer centers;
9) innovation clusters;
10) territorial clusters;
11) industry centers of technological competence;
12) other elements determined by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of recommendations and proposals of the interdepartmental commission on industrial policy in accordance with this Law.
This Law establishes the fundamental principles of industrial policy and regulates public relations that arise during the formation and implementation of industrial policy.
