1. Fingerprint information is destroyed by the internal affairs bodies, the authorized state body in the field of transport, which accumulate and store it.

2. Fingerprint information is destroyed after the expiration of the retention periods provided for in Article 15 of this Law.

3. The destruction of fingerprint information is carried out according to acts approved by the heads of authorized departments of the internal affairs bodies, the authorized state body in the field of transport, in accordance with the procedure determined by the rules for conducting fingerprint and genomic registration.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of fingerprint and genomic registration in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
