1. For persons with disabilities to access railway transport services, railway stations and railway stations must be provided with:

1) allocation of places with the installation of special road signs for parking vehicles of persons with disabilities;

2) adaptation of buildings, entrances to buildings (building entrances, stairs), and ways of movement inside the building for low-mobility groups of the population, including people with disabilities;

3) equipment with information signaling devices and communication facilities accessible to persons with hearing and visual disabilities, in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4) the presence of a wheelchair on duty to serve people with disabilities, those with musculoskeletal disorders, and other low-mobility groups of the population;

5) equipment of public toilets with cabins for people using wheelchairs;

6) the establishment of specialized payphones for people traveling in wheelchairs.

2. The train should include a carriage with lifting devices for boarding and disembarking people in wheelchairs, with specialized seats for people in wheelchairs.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 2001 No. 266.

This Law regulates public relations between carriers, participants in the transportation process, government agencies, passengers, senders, recipients, shippers, consignees, and other individuals and legal entities when transporting passengers, baggage, cargo, baggage, and mail by rail.
