Foreigners may freely move around the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which is open to foreigners, and choose their place of residence in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Restrictions on movement and choice of place of residence are established by acts of authorized state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, when it is necessary to ensure state security, protect public order, public health and morals, protect the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other persons.
