Article 15. The list of documents and materials required to resolve issues of administrative and territorial structure at the regional level Section 4. Documents and materials necessary for consideration of the issues of the administrative-territorial structure of the Law on the Administrative-Territorial Structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan

To resolve issues of administrative and territorial structure at the regional level, it is necessary:

1) the decision of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the representation (joint) of the regional representative and executive bodies, which essentially resolve the issue;

2) a submission by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan containing a relevant petition and justification for the proposed proposal, information on the size of the territory being modified, the number of people living there, a list of major legal entities, their production indicators, the number of employees in each of them, information on the structure and staff of local representative and executive bodies, their changes in connection with reorganization, naming and renaming issues, as well as all other information necessary to resolve the issue on its merits;

3) proposals of local (regional, district, city) representative and executive bodies, akims of towns, villages, rural districts on the issue under consideration;

4) a schematic map with an indication of the new boundaries of administrative-territorial units and other geographical data relevant to the substantive resolution of the issue. The map is signed by a representative of the Government, as well as by the heads of representative and executive bodies receiving and transmitting territories, and the signatures are sealed.;

5) an act of scientific expertise and an economic calculation on the ongoing transformations and renaming.
