Article 14. The State Register of Trademarks Chapter 4. Trademark registration of the Law on Trademarks, Service Marks, Geographical Indications and Names of Places of Origin of Goods
1. Information on trademark registration is entered in the State Register of Trademarks when paying for the services of an expert organization for trademark registration.
The information entered into the State Register of Trademarks must contain:
1) Trademark image;
2) information about its owner and (or) its representative. In relation to a collective trademark, the data of the owners and the list of subjects entitled to use the collective trademark are indicated.;
3) the number and date of registration of the trademark;
4) the list of goods (services) in respect of which the trademark is registered;
5) the number and date of submission of the application to the expert organization;
6) the country, number and date of filing of the first application, if the convention priority is established;
7) other information related to the registration of the trademark, including information on the disposal of the trademark right.
2. The State Register of Trademarks is publicly available. At the request of the interested parties, the expert organization submits an extract from the State Register of Trademarks.
3. The trademark owner is obliged to notify the expert organization of changes related to registration, including information about changes in his surname, first name and patronymic (if any), place of residence or name and location, as well as a reduction in the list of goods (services) for which a trademark is registered that does not substantially change registration.
4. The expert organization, within ten working days from the date of filing the application for amendments and the corresponding payment, shall make the changes specified in paragraph 3 of this Article to the State Register of Trademarks, as well as changes to correct technical errors.
A notification about this is sent to the applicant within five working days from the date of making changes to the State Register of Trademarks.

This Law regulates relations arising in connection with the registration, legal protection and use of trademarks, service marks, geographical indications and names of places of origin of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
