Organizations for which scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities are not the main type of activity, in order to solve the tasks set out in their constituent documents, have the right to create scientific divisions in their structure.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of science, scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, commercialization of the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities, defines the basic principles and mechanisms of functioning and development of the national scientific system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
