Licensing of plant protection activities is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union in the field of non-tariff regulation, as well as in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on permits and notifications in the field of public services.

The activities of individuals and legal entities in the production (formulation) of pesticides, the sale of pesticides, the use of pesticides by aerosol and fumigation methods, as well as the import of plant protection products (pesticides) are prohibited without an appropriate license obtained in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 3, 2002 No. 331.

This Law defines the legal, economic and organizational bases for carrying out activities in the field of plant protection from pests, weeds and plant diseases and is aimed at preserving crops, their quality and preventing harmful effects on human health and the environment when implementing phytosanitary measures in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
