1. The authorized body in the field of digitalization (hereinafter referred to as the authorized body) is the central executive body responsible for the management and intersectoral coordination in the field of digitalization.

2. The authorized body within its competence:

1) on the basis of and in pursuance of the main directions of the internal and foreign policy of the state, defined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the main directions of the socio-economic policy of the state, its defense capability, security, and public order, developed by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, forms a state policy in the field of digitalization in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2) performs strategic, regulatory, implementation and control functions;

3) develops and approves regulatory legal acts in the field of digitalization;

4) exercise other powers provided for by this Code, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Code regulates public relations related to the implementation of architectural, urban planning and construction activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the formation of a full-fledged habitat and human activity, planning and development of settlements, interuniverse territories, ensuring the safety of construction sites at all stages of their life cycle.
