Article 14-3. The powers of the organization established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the development of domestic and inbound tourism of the Law on Tourism Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan

The organization established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the development of domestic and inbound tourism has the following powers:

1) organizes events aimed at the development of inbound and domestic tourism;

2) promotes the Republic of Kazakhstan and its tourism opportunities in the international and domestic tourism markets, including through the use and development of the national tourism portal;

3) develops and promotes national tourism brands in the international and domestic tourism markets, forms and maintains their register in accordance with the approved rules;

4) develops a marketing strategy in the tourism industry, coordinates and monitors its implementation;

5) participates in the creation and development of tourism resources;

6) conducts an analysis of the tourism potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

7) administers the subsidization of the ticket price included in the tourist product for the air transportation of minor passengers on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 13, 2001 No. 211.

This Law defines the legal, economic, social, and organizational foundations of tourism activity as one of the sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
