Article 13. Transfer of documents of the National Archival Fund for permanent storage of the Law on the National Archival Fund and Archives
1. After the expiration of the storage period in departmental archives, documents of the National Archival Fund that are in state ownership must be transferred in an orderly manner for permanent storage in state archives.
Before transferring documents for permanent storage to the state archive, legal entities carry out an examination of their scientific and practical value in accordance with the procedure determined by the authorized body.
1-1. The transfer of documents of the National Archival Fund in an orderly manner is carried out at the expense of the own funds of legal entities transferring archives, in accordance with the rules of documentation, document management and use of electronic document management systems in state and non-state organizations, the rules of reception, storage, accounting and use of documents of the National Archival Fund and other archival documents by departmental and private archives.

3. The transfer of documents of the National Archival Fund, which are in state ownership, for permanent storage to other states is carried out in exceptional cases by decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the authorized body.

This Law regulates public relations in the field of collection, acquisition, storage, state accounting and use of documents of the National Archival Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the state administration of archival affairs in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
