Article 13. The Tourism Council of the Law on Tourism Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The Tourism Council is established as an advisory body under the authorized body.
2. The Tourism Council consists of representatives of the authorized body and interested government agencies, as well as representatives of associations and other associations in the field of tourism activities.
3. The Tourism Board:
1) develops proposals on the development of tourism, attracting investments in this sector of the economy, ensuring a favorable regime for entry into the Republic of Kazakhstan and creating conditions for tourists to travel abroad, forming the tourist image of the republic, training specialists in the field of tourism activities;
2) for the purpose of informing consumers of tourist services about the quality of services, it conducts a rating of persons engaged in tourist activities according to the procedure approved by it.
4. Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 05.07.2008 N 59-IV (for the procedure of entry into force, see art. 2).

This Law defines the legal, economic, social, and organizational foundations of tourism activity as one of the sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
