Article 13. The Procedure for taking the Oath of Office by employees of the Law On Law Enforcement Service

     1. The oath is taken:

     1) persons entering the service of law enforcement agencies for the first time who have been awarded a special rank or class rank – no later than two months after the assignment of a special rank or class rank;

     2) cadets of an educational organization who have not previously taken the Oath - no later than two months after enrolling in their studies.;

     3) employees who had not previously taken the Oath for any reason.

     2. The oath is taken in a law enforcement agency in a solemn atmosphere under the supervision of the head of the law enforcement agency or an authorized head.

     3. The heads of personnel services of law enforcement agencies are responsible for the timely swearing in of employees, the organization and accounting of staff taking the Oath.

     4. The text of the oath of law enforcement officers and the procedure for taking it are approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

 

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 6, 2011 No. 380-IV.

     This Law regulates public relations related to admission to the law enforcement service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its passage and termination, and also defines the legal status (status), financial support and social protection of law enforcement officers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
