Article 13. Taking the oath by employees of the Law On Special State Bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. The oath is taken:
1) persons who have entered the service of special state bodies who have not previously taken the military oath or the oath of an employee;
2) cadets, trainees who had not previously taken the military oath or the oath of an employee;
3) officials of special state bodies who, for some reason, had not previously taken the military oath or the oath of an employee.
2. The text of the employees' oath and the procedure for taking it are approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
3. The responsibility for the timely taking of the oath by employees, the organization and accounting of its acceptance are assigned to the heads of departments and personnel of special government agencies.

This Law defines the status of special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as special state bodies), regulates public relations related to admission to service in special state bodies, its passage and termination, and also defines the legal status, financial support and social protection of employees of special state bodies.
