1. The standards of evaluation activities include the standards of evaluation and the standards of the Chamber of Appraisers.

2. An assessment standard that affects an area that is regulated by another government agency is subject to approval by the authorized body in the relevant area.

3. Evaluation standards are developed on the basis of international evaluation standards and must comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on evaluation activities.

4. The Chamber of Appraisers has the right to develop and approve, in coordination with the authorized body in the field of evaluation activities and the authorized body in the field of self-regulation, standards and rules of the Chamber of appraisers that are mandatory for all its members.

5. Evaluation standards do not relate to standardization documents, which are adopted in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of standardization.

This Law regulates public relations related to the implementation of valuation activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and also defines the legal basis for regulating valuation activities.
