1. The main pipeline is an indivisible property complex and may be in state or private ownership.

2. The main pipeline, as well as blocks of shares (stakes) in legal entities that own the main pipeline, blocks of shares (stakes) of individuals and legal entities that have the ability to directly or indirectly determine decisions or influence decisions made by legal entities that own the main pipeline, are classified as strategic objects of socio-economic importance for the sustainable development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, ownership and (or) use, and (or) the disposal of which may have an impact on the state of national security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

3. The main pipeline is prohibited from being owned by individuals, as well as by legal entities registered in accordance with the legislation of a foreign state.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 22, 2012 No. 20-V.

This Law regulates public relations arising during the design, construction, operation, conservation and liquidation of the main pipeline, and is aimed at ensuring efficient, reliable and safe operation of the main pipeline.
