Article 11. Rights and obligations of owners of land plots and land users in the field of soil protection The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Soil Protection   

      1. Owners of land plots and land users shall have the right to:

      1) apply to state bodies and authorized state and other organizations to obtain reliable information on the condition of soil and measures for soil protection;

      2) demand compensation for harm and losses caused to soil by individuals and (or) legal entities.

      2. Owners of land plots and land users shall be obliged to:

      1) carry out measures for soil protection;

      2) comply with requirements in the field of soil protection;

      3) carry out reclamation of disturbed lands;

      4) provide access to land plots for conducting soil, meliorative, and agrochemical surveys, bonitation, and soil monitoring.

      3. Owners of land plots and land users shall have other rights and bear other obligations provided for by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

On soil protection, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 8, 2026 No. 341-VIII SAM 

This Law regulates public relations in the field of soil protection and defines their legal, economic and organizational bases.
