Article 11. Competence of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of highways and road activities of the Law on Highways
The jurisdiction of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan includes:
1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 04/19/2023 No. 223-VII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).
2) general management of the activities of central and local executive bodies in the field of highways and road activities;
3) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 09/29/2014 No. 239-V (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);
4) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/03/2013 No. 124-V (effective after ten calendar days after its first official publication);
5) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 09/29/2014 No. 239-V (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);
5-1) excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 09/29/2014 No. 239-V (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication);
6) Excluded by the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 07/05/2024 No. 115-VIII (effective ten calendar days after the date of its first official publication).

8-5) making decisions on the issue of state-owned Islamic securities, on the basis of which republican public roads or their sections are sold to the ownership of a state-owned Islamic special financial company with the obligation to buy them back in accordance with the terms of the issue of state-owned Islamic securities;
9) exercise of other powers provided for by the Constitution, this Law, other laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This Law regulates the legal, organizational and economic foundations of the state management of highways in the Republic of Kazakhstan, their construction, operation and development in the interests of the state and users of highways.
