Article 11. Competence of local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital in the field of protection, protection, restoration and use of the flora of the Law on Flora

     Local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital:

     1) develop and implement action plans in the field of protection, restoration, and use of flora;

     2) organize activities in the field of conservation, protection, restoration and use of flora;

     3) ensure the maintenance of green spaces located on public lands of settlements;

     4) develop payment rates for the use of plant resources in the order of special use of the plant world, with the exception of rates for wood released on the root in the areas of the state forest fund;

     5) develop rules for the creation, maintenance and protection of green spaces in settlements;

     6) make decisions on the establishment of restrictions (suspension) of the right to use wild plants in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

     7) provide individuals and legal entities with access to information in the field of protection, restoration, and use of flora;

     8) exercise, in the interests of local government, other powers assigned to local executive bodies by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 2, 2023 No. 183-VII SAM.

     This Law regulates public relations and establishes the legal basis of state policy in the field of protection, restoration, and use of flora.
