A child, both of whose parents were citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the time of his birth, is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, regardless of the place of birth.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 20, 1991 1017-XII. This Law regulates the issues of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
