1. Methods of calibration of measuring instruments are used to carry out operations to establish the actual values of the metrological characteristics of standards of units of quantities and measuring instruments.

2. Methods of calibration of measuring instruments are developed and approved by the legal entities performing calibration, manufacturers, owners and (or) users of standards of units of quantities and measuring instruments.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 7, 2000 No. 53-II.

This Law regulates public relations that arise between government agencies, individuals and legal entities in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements, defines its goals, legal and organizational bases for ensuring the uniformity of measurements.
