Article 10. Competence of local representative bodies of oblasts, cities of republican significance and the capital in the field of protection, protection, restoration and use of the flora of the Law on Flora

Local representative bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital:

1) approve action plans in the field of protection, restoration, and use of flora;

2) hear reports from local executive bodies on the management of flora;

3) approve the rates of payment for the use of plant resources in the order of special use of the plant world, with the exception of rates for uprooted timber on the plots of the state forest fund;

4) approve the rules for the creation, maintenance and protection of green spaces in settlements;

5) exercise other powers in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to ensure the rights and legitimate interests of citizens.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 2, 2023 No. 183-VII SAM.

This Law regulates public relations and establishes the legal basis of state policy in the field of protection, restoration, and use of flora.
