Article 1. The concept of security activities Chapter 1. General provisions of the Law on Security Activities
1. Security activities are defined as the provision by legal entities of services to protect the life, health and property of individuals, as well as the property of legal entities from unlawful encroachments (security services).
2. This Law applies to private security organizations and specialized security units of internal affairs bodies, unless otherwise provided by laws, acts of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on internal affairs bodies.
3. This Law does not apply to the protection of other benefits and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities related to the field of healthcare, intellectual property, state secrets, and commercial secrets, unless otherwise provided by law.
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 19, 2000 No. 85.
This Law establishes the legal basis of security activities in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, defines the status and powers of subjects engaged in security and security activities.
