Article 1-1. Security measures of the Law on the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Security measures are a set of legal, organizational and technical measures, operational-search and counterintelligence measures aimed at ensuring the safety of protected persons and facilities.
The head of the republican operational headquarters for security measures is the Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The head of the regional, city of republican significance, capital of the operational headquarters for security measures is determined by the head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among representatives of state bodies that are part of the republican operational headquarters for security measures or their territorial bodies.
The head of the republican operational headquarters for security measures or an official authorized by him, from the beginning of security measures until their completion, supervises all military personnel, employees and specialists of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan involved in their conduct.
By decision of the Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, security measures to ensure the safety of protected persons are carried out within the framework of anti-terrorist operations in accordance with this Law and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Countering Terrorism".
