About the Day of the Press Workers

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 19, 1997 No. 3555.

In order to develop democratic traditions in the media and book publishing, I hereby decree:

     1. To declare June 28 as Press Workers' Day, a professional holiday for journalists, publishers and printers.

     2. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of publication.
