About changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the Turkestan region

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 12, 2021 No. 534.

     In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On the Administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I DECREE:

     1. To form an administrative-territorial unit of the Sauran district within the Turkestan region with the administrative center in the village of Shornak by separating the rural districts of Shaga, Zhana Ikan, Eski Ikan, Ushkayk, Iassy, Orangay, Karashyk, Zhuynek, Babaikorgan, Shornak, Zhibek Zholy, Maidantal from the city of Kentau.

     2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the necessary measures to implement paragraph 1 of this Decree.

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its first official publication.
