About changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the Almaty region

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 31, 2018 No. 653

 In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 8, 1993 "On the Administrative-territorial structure of the Republic of Kazakhstan", I DECREE:

     1. To form administrative-territorial units: Kegen district with the administrative center in the village of Kegen, Raiymbek district with the administrative center in the village of Narynkol by dividing the Raiymbek district of the Almaty region.

     2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall take the necessary measures to implement paragraph 1 of this Decree.

     3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its first official publication.
