Article 585. Detention during transit and temporary extradition of a person (extradition) CPC RK Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
The decision of the competent authority of a foreign state to detain a person or impose a custodial sentence on him is the basis for the detention in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of persons who:
1) are transported in transit through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) temporarily extradited to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
