Article 252. Search CPC of the Republic of Kazakhstan Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan
1. A search is carried out for the purpose of detecting and seizing objects or documents relevant to the case, including the discovery of property subject to arrest.
2. The basis for conducting a search is the existence of sufficient data to believe that the specified items or documents may be in a certain room or other place or in the possession of a specific person.
3. A search may be conducted to locate the wanted person and the body of the person.
