The Order of "Dank" is awarded to persons of the highest officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, other troops and military formations, special state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as persons of the highest commanding staff of law enforcement agencies, civil protection agencies and the state courier service of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

- for achievements in the leadership and management of troops, high combat readiness of troops and ensuring the country's defense capability;

- for the excellent organization of military, border and internal service, ensuring national security, strengthening the rule of law and protecting public order.

The Order of "Dank" consists of two degrees:

- "Dank" I degree;

- "Dank" II degree.

The highest degree of the order is the First degree. Awards are made sequentially: II degree and I degree.

The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 12, 1995 No. 2676.
