Article 117. Maintaining the priority of citizens registered in need of housing SECTION 6 Chapter 17. Transitional provisions of the Housing Relations Act
1. Citizens who were registered as needing housing at the time of the entry into force of this Law shall retain the right to receive housing from the state housing stock in the same manner.
2. If the housing stock of state-owned enterprises is transferred to the state communal housing stock, together with the housing stock, the lists of citizens registered as needing housing at their place of work are also transferred to the relevant local executive body.
At the same time, persons who were registered at the time of the transfer of the housing stock for those in need of housing at their place of work are included in the lists compiled at their place of residence, based on the date of their registration at their place of work. If these persons are registered at their place of residence, they are included in the lists based on the date of their registration at their place of work or residence, at the applicant's choice.
Local executive bodies shall, within ten days, make public changes to the lists of those in need of housing, indicating and confirming the reasons for the changes made in accordance with the procedure established by Article 78 of this Law.
