On the determination of the authorized bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan responsible for the implementation of the Agreement on the organization of actions of the air defense duty forces of the member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States upon receipt of information about the seizure (hijacking) of an aircraft

Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated May 20, 2016 No. 266

In accordance with Article 2 of the Agreement on the Organization of Actions of the Air Defense duty forces of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States upon receiving information about the seizure (hijacking) of an aircraft committed in Dushanbe on September 3, 2011 (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement), I decree: 1. To determine the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan are the authorized bodies responsible for the implementation of the Agreement.      2. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall notify the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the decision taken.      3. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
