On the formation of city and district courts in Astana, the abolition of the Akmola City Court and the increase in the number of judges of the Republic of Kazakhastan
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 11, 1998 No. 4010
In accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 10, paragraph 2 of Article 11, paragraphs 1 and 2 of Article 15 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which has the force of a Constitutional Law, dated December 20, 1995 N 2694 U952694_ "On courts and the status of judges in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and in connection with changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the city Astana
I decree:
1. To form in the city of Astana:
1) the city court, equivalent to the regional court, is the court of the city of Astana;
2) Almaty and Saryarkinsky district courts.
2. Abolish the Akmola City Court.
3. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan within one month:
1) ensure the allocation of buildings;
2) to resolve the issues of financing and logistical support of the courts established by this Decree;
3) take other measures resulting from this Decree.
4. (Paragraph 4 is deleted - by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 21, 2002 No. 825 (effective January 1, 2002) U020825_) 5. To the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan within one month:
1) to submit for consideration by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan proposals on the staffing of the courts newly established by this Decree;
2) take other measures resulting from this Decree.
6. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
7. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of signature, with the exception of paragraphs 1 and 2, which shall enter into force as soon as the necessary conditions are created for the operation of the courts newly established by this Decree, but no later than September 1, 1998.
