On the establishment of the State Commission for the Preparation and holding of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi
Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 26, 2019 No. 133.
In order to ensure that the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi is celebrated at a high organizational and substantive level in 2020, I HEREBY DECREE:
1. To establish a State Commission for the preparation and holding of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi (hereinafter referred to as the State Commission) according to the appendix.
2. To determine the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan as the working body of the State Commission.
3. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan should ensure that the draft Republican Plan for the preparation and holding of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi is submitted to the State Commission for consideration by October 1, 2019.
4. The State Commission:
1) to approve, by November 1, 2019, a Nationwide plan for the preparation and holding of the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi;
2) take other measures to implement this Decree.
5. Control over the implementation of this Decree is entrusted to the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. This Decree shall enter into force from the date of its signing.
