On some issues of the administrative and territorial structure of the South Kazakhstan region

In accordance with Article 9 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 8

     "About the administrative-territorial

     the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan" I decree:

     1. Abolish the districts of Assikat, Zhetysaysky, Maktaaralsky and

     to form a Maktaaralsky district on their territory with an administrative

     The center is in the city of Zhetysai.

     2. Rename the city of Saryagach to the city of Saryagash.

     3. To abolish the Kelessky and Saryagachsky districts and form on

     their territories are Saryagashsky district with the administrative center in the city

     Saryagashe.

     4. To abolish the Turkestan region.

     5. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan should take the necessary measures

     on the implementation of this Decree.
