Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 7, 1999 No. 168

In accordance with subparagraph 2) of Article 44 of the Constitution of the Republic

Kazakhstan, Articles 69 and 85 of the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On

elections in the Republic of Kazakhstan" I decree:

1. To appoint regular elections of deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic

Kazakhstan on September 17, 1999.

2. To appoint regular elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic

Kazakhstan on October 10, 1999.

3. To the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, akims of regions, cities of Astana

and Almaty will immediately take all necessary organizational measures.,
