Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 31, 1998 No. 4034

In order to reduce budget expenditures on the maintenance of government agencies and improve the structure of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

I decree:

1. Reorganize the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan by separating the Economic Administration of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan from its composition. P980822

2. The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

1) within one month, transform the Economic Department of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan into a closed joint-stock company "KHOZU" (hereinafter - CJSC "KHOZU") with one hundred percent state participation in the authorized capital of the company; P001597

2) transfer as a contribution of the state to the authorized capital of KHOZU CJSC the property on the balance sheet of the Economic Administration of the President and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the property of republican state-owned enterprises, as well as other organizations according to the list according to the appendix;

3) transfer to the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan the authority to own, use and manage the state block of shares of CJSC KHOZU;

4) to bring previously issued acts of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with this Decree.

3. To make amendments and additions to the following acts of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

In paragraph 1 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 17, 1997 No. 3692 "On the reorganization of the structure of the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan", the words "President and Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Akmola" should be replaced with the words "Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The footnote. Paragraph 3 was amended by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 21, 2000 No. 378.

4. This Decree comes into force from the date of signing.
